“Naomi is more than a media consultant, She’s the jet fuel for your rocket ship. She’s got moxie, and it’s infectious.”

Naomi Seligman is a nationally-recognized strategic communications and accountability leader who has spent decades fighting on behalf of people whose voices need to be heard. For more than 25 years, first in Washington D.C. and now in California, she has transformed the organizations she has worked for into powerhouses of influence.

She has led local, state, and national campaigns for elected officials, anti-corruption and other advocacy organizations, mission-driven corporations, tech innovators and entertainment industry luminaries. Her effectiveness can be measured by the strong strategic partnerships she forms, her cutting-edge tactics, creative marketing ideas, and the electric media buzz she has managed to create time and again.

Naomi has been a senior staffer on Capitol Hill and built and directed the communications operations for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) and Media Matters for America, both leaders in their respective fields. She ended the careers of some of the nation’s most corrupt government leaders, targeted the NRA and its allies, exposed front groups, and worked on behalf of whistleblowers including the outed CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson and her former husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson. She is a whistleblower herself.

"Naomi was an invaluable part of the lawsuit we filed... after my cover as a covert CIA operative was blown in an act of political revenge."

Valerie Plame Wilson - Former CIA operative

Naomi later served as director of communications for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and has been a Senior Fellow with the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, USC Marshall School of Business. Among the many other organizations she has been involved with are Miry’s List, which helps refugees settle in the United States, A New Way of Life, which helps formerly incarcerated women restore their lives, Emerge California, which recruits and trains Democratic women for elected office, and the Social and Behavioral Sciences school at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Naomi has been widely featured in the media and has appeared in outlets including CNN, NPR, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Politico, and The Wall Street Journal. She presented her first TEDxTalk in 2020.

“Naomi’s relentless energy, her refusal to be intimidated and her sheer inventiveness helped bring down some of the most corrupt politicians of our generation.”

Anne Weismann - Former Chief Counsel at CREW
